About this cartoon: President Trump and many Republicans have been pushing to add a question about citizenship to the 2020 Census, for the purpose of scaring away minorities and immigrants from letting themselves be counted. This will disproportionally affect states like California and could lead to large undercounts, loss of federal dollars and even loss of congressional seats... which is exactly what these GOP interests want.
